CompactGPS-LP (Low Power) Card - Pretec
Price: $114.99
Shipping Weight: 0.50 pounds
Pretec’s CompactGPS-LP (Low Power) is the world's smallest GPS card in the CompactFlash form factor and is compatible with CompactFlash host socket services. The CompactGPS-LP is designed to integrate easily with a wide range of navigation, location, and mapping software applications on your PocketPC, HPC, or notebook computer. Pretec’s lower power GPS card features all-in-view satellite tracking that provides robust performance in environments that require high vehicle dynamics and high signal-blockage operations. The 12-channel architecture of Pretec’s CompactGPS-LP provides rapid Time-To-First-Fix (TTFF) under all startup conditions. To minimize TTFF following a power down and prolong the battery life of your device, the built-in battery of the CompactGPS-LP maintains power to the Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) and Real-Time Clock (RTC) for periods following the loss of primary power. By adding an inexpensive CompactFlash Adapter, the CompactGPS-LP card becomes a full-fledged PC card that you can use with most notebook computers and instruments that have a PCMCIA slot.
